Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy explains how OnyxOps collects, uses and protects your information when you visit onyxops.co.uk or get in touch with us through the site.
OnyxOps is ICO registered. By using this site, you’re agreeing to the practices described below. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
This policy covers our website and how we handle enquiries made through it. If you’re a client and we process your customers’ data on your behalf as part of a CRM or systems project, that processing is governed separately by the Data Processing Agreement signed as part of your Service Agreement, not this policy.
What information we collect
When you get in touch through our contact form, book a call, or book a Blueprint Session, we collect the information you provide, typically your name, email address, phone number and details about your business and enquiry.
When you browse the site, we also collect general usage information through Google Analytics, such as which pages you visit and how long you spend on them. This doesn’t identify you personally.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiry and arrange calls or sessions you’ve booked
- Provide the services you’ve engaged us for, if you become a client
- Send you marketing emails or updates, where you’ve given us your consent to do so
- Understand how the site is used, so we can improve it
- Meet our legal and accounting obligations
If we ever want to use your information for a new purpose beyond what’s described here, we’ll ask for your consent first.
Marketing emails
With your consent, we may send you emails about OnyxOps’s services, updates, or content we think you’ll find useful. You can withdraw this consent at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email, or by emailing support@onyxops.co.uk. Opting out of marketing emails won’t affect any service you’ve already engaged us for.
Legal basis for processing
We process your information on the following bases:
- Contract: to take the steps you request before entering into a contract with us, or to perform a contract with you
- Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries and operate our business, in a way that doesn’t override your rights
- Consent: for analytics cookies (in accordance with our Cookie Policy) and for any marketing emails we send you
- Legal obligation: where we need to keep records for accounting or legal purposes
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of our engagement plus a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal and accounting obligations. If your enquiry doesn’t lead to any further contact, we’ll delete your information within a reasonable period.
Who we share your information with
We don’t sell your information. We share it only with the third parties who help us run the site and our business, currently:
- HighLevel, our CRM platform, which stores and manages contact and enquiry information
- Google, for website analytics (Google Analytics)
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are in place in line with UK data protection law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Restrict or object to how we process your data
- Request your data in a portable format
- Withdraw any consent you’ve previously given
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
To exercise any of these rights, email support@onyxops.co.uk. We’ll respond within the timeframes required by law.
If you choose not to provide certain information, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry or provide the services requested.
Cookies
We use cookies on this site. For details on what we use and how to manage your preferences, see our Cookie Policy.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we work to protect your data, we can’t guarantee its absolute security.
